On June 29th, in the security checkpoint of Baiyun Airport, security personnel found several magnets in the bag of a middle-aged male passenger heading to Nanjing. According to relevant regulations, the passenger had to give up carrying these magnets on board.
On June 29th, in the airport security checkpoint, an X-ray operator discovered a high-density metal block in a passenger's bag and instructed the operator to conduct an open package inspection on the item. When the unpacker opened the bag, he found that these metal objects had firmly attached the keys, coins, and other items next to them. It turns out to be a few magnets!
However, according to the Civil Aviation Safety Inspection Regulations, strongly magnetized objects that may interfere with the normal operation of various instruments on the aircraft are prohibited for passengers to carry or check in. Therefore, the passenger was unable to bring the magnet onto the plane.
